Micah Knapp was born in Bellingham, WA. At age 8, he saved $500 to purchase an 8mm video camera - making home movies with his brothers. In 2012, Micah and his brother Jacob co-founded Knapp Bros. Studios and produced local commercials, music videos, documentaries and shorts. Micah moved to Seattle, Washington in 2015 to work in the freelance market. Micah is a writer, director and producer.
Micah has acted as Producer on multiple Independent feature films, shot in Seattle - as well as Producing and Directing multiple short films, appearing in global and international festivals - including SIFF (Seattle International Film Festival), SXSW (South by Southwest), Oaxaca Filmfest and more. Micah has worked in every format and medium - from Film, to RED Digital Cinema, to IMAX Film, to Virtual Reality projects. His work encompasses: commercial, corporate, music video, documentary, and feature films.
Micah is currently embarking on his first directorial feature film debut, "11:11". Currently in post-production.
